SPRING SWING 2024

SPI held their 2nd Spring Swing Fun Tournament on Saturday, May 11, celebrated by a great social at Liberty Kitchen at the end of the day. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to the many volunteers who made the tournament a huge success behind the scenes and on the court:

2023 Saskatchewan Pickleball Provincial Tournament

The 2023 Pickleball Saskatchewan Provincial Tournament was a resounding success! Many thanks to the Tournament Director, Brent Cooper, organizing committee and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the tournament a great experience for all. Our sincere gratitude to all Tournament Sponsors who helped to make the event possible (please see poster below).

303 players took part in the tournament! There was a total of 552 matches, 528 which were refereed by one of the 26 referees. The tournament featured 39 events and 313 medals were awarded over the course of three days. Congratulations to all players!

SPI Spring Swing Classic 2023

SPI's Spring Swing Classic was a day to remember! Sixteen teams in the morning for Intermediate/Rec competition and another sixteen teams in the afternoon for Advanced competition. Many thanks to the organizers, volunteers and players for a great day of pickleball.

2021 Provincial Tournament a HUGE SUCCESS!

The Pickleball Saskatchewan Provincial Tournament hosted by Saskatoon Pickleball Inc. was a huge success. Over 160 players entered into 17 events held over a two-day period. The weekend was jam packed with spectacular refereed matches. All attendees had fun socializing, watching game play on SPI's new world-class courts, shopping at the two vendors on site and awaiting the results of the winners of twelve exceptional raffle prizes. Many thanks to the organizers, all the volunteers (too numerous to list), the sponsors, the players and the spectators for their contribution to the event. Tournament photographer, Doris Santha, and her assistants, Cathy Baerg and Nina Henry, graciously provided medalist photos.
