SWIFTNET SETUP and TAKEDOWN
SWIFTNET SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Lay out feet at either side about 6-12 inches from the court line with button to outside
Step 2 - Take boom out of bag and walk it out vertically to get sections to attach
Step 3 - Unroll net and lay flat on surface
Step 4 - Put boom into top of net, taking care to put boom under the net cord.
Before Step 4, you may want to consider untwisting the pull cord if it is twisted between the ring and the post. This can be done by rotating post in proper direction within sleeve to untwist the pull cord between the ring and the post.
Step 5 - With partner, raise net and boom together.
Step 6 - ONE AT A TIME, hold posts perpendicular to feet and slide in until it clicks. You should not have to force this or step on feet.
If it doesn't click into place, give it a quarter turn
When your partner is inserting first post onto the base, hold the other end loosely from the top. This allows your partner to insert post more easily.
When the first post is inserted, then hands off. This will allow your partner to insert second post more easily.
Step 7 - Attach boom rest (triangle) to boom and designate someone to hold net away from boom rest (triangle).
Step 8 - ONE AT A TIME. First person pull net cord down and leave about 2 inches room. Second person pull on cord until triangle hits ground, give one more tug.
Step 9 - Net should be 34 inches in middle. Hook velcro under boom and back through net. Use velcro to adjust height and measure. When done, put measuring tape back in pocket.
Step 10 - Tuck the pull cord into sleeves.
TAKE DOWN (REVERSE OF SET UP)
Step 1 - remove the boom rest (triangle) and put into pocket of the bag.
Step 2 -undo velcro and fasten it back up through bottom of net.
Step 3 - Release pressure on boom by taking net cord out of sleeve and lifting up.
DO NOT attempt disassembly until the tension has been released by pulling up on the pull cords
Step 4 - ONE AT A TIME, push button to release post and slide it out of feet. Do this on both sides
Step 5 - Together, lay net and boom on ground. Once on ground, it is SAFE to remove boom from net. If you do this while posts are attached, boom is under pressure and could injure.
Step 6 - Fold up boom and put in bag
Step 7 - Once the boom is removed, draw the pull cord tight and insert in the post sleeve. This makes sue that the pull cords do not get tangled in the net when it is being rolled up.
Step 8 - Ensure velcro is fastened through the bottom of the net to prevent tangling.
Step 9 - Bring two ends of net together, then roll it up and place in bottom of bag
Step 10 - Put feet into bag with ends facing in so they don't poke holes in bag
Step 11 - Zip up and put bag away.
